The Role
We are looking for a qualified Electrician to join our Responsive Repairs Team. You will play a key role in delivering responsive and emergency electrical repairs across the South region.
Typical tasks will include:

The Role

- Replacing damaged electrical accessories
- Electrical fault diagnosis and repair
- Partial rewires
- Distribution board upgrades
- Electrical maintenance and installations within residential properties

Key Responsibilities
- Complete electrical repairs and installations safely and efficiently
- Deliver a first-time fix wherever possible
- Diagnose faults across electrical circuits and heating systems
- Maintain excellent customer service standards
- Work independently while managing your workload effectively
You will participate in an on-call rota approximately once every six weeks, running Thursday to Thursday.
This includes:
- Standby allowance
- Additional payment for each completed call-out
- Payments on top of your basic salary
Essential:
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation or equivalent qualification
- Completed AM2
- City & Guilds qualifications such as:
- 2360 Parts 1 & 2
- 2351
- 2330 Levels 2 & 3
- or approved equivalent
- Practical experience working in accordance with BS 7671
- Experience in inspection, testing and commissioning of installations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Good IT skills
- City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent
- City & Guilds 2394 / 2395 (inspection and testing)
- Experience working in social housing
- Experience with NICEIC certification or similar systems
