Location: Fareham
Salary: £43,056 per annum
40 Hours per week
We’re looking for an experienced Electrician to join our team, carrying out electrical repairs, maintenance and installations across domestic properties.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for:

• Electrical testing and inspection
• Reactive repairs and fault finding
• Full domestic electrical rewiring
• Electrical installations to kitchens and bathrooms
• Domestic heating system installations
• Diagnosing the correct repair and working to a right-first-time approach

About You
We’re looking for a skilled, self-motivated electrician who can manage their own workload and deliver a professional service to customers.
You’ll need:

• Experience across domestic and commercial electrical works
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Experience working directly with tenants/customers
• Ability to prioritise and manage your own workload
• Good communication skills, including use of a phone and PDA
• A strong understanding of health & safety
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Good technical knowledge and a commitment to keeping up to date with regulations

Qualifications
Essential:

• City & Guilds 2382 Electrical Regulations
• City & Guilds 2391 Testing & Inspection or equivalent
• Full UK driving licence

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• Working knowledge of 18th Edition Electrical Regulations

Experience

• 2–5 years' experience working within Social Housing or a Building Maintenance environment
