About the Role

You will play a key role in carrying out responsive and emergency electrical repairs within customers’ homes, working independently and aiming for first-time fixes wherever possible.

You will play a key role in carrying out responsive and emergency electrical repairs within customers’ homes, working independently and aiming for first-time fixes wherever possible.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsive and emergency electrical repairs
- Fault diagnosis and rectification
- Replacing damaged electrical accessories
- Partial rewires
- Distribution board upgrades
- Circuit and heating system fault-finding
- Completing work to a high standard on a first-time fix basis
On-Call Rota
- Participation in an on-call rota approximately once every six weeks
- Rota runs Thursday to Thursday
- Standby allowance provided
- Additional payment for each completed call-out (on top of basic pay)
Essential Requirements
- 18th Edition qualification (up to date)
- Proven experience as an Electrician
- Strong fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable Experience
- Experience working within social housing
- Experience using NICEIC certification or similar electrical certification software
