Location: Eastleigh (covering Portsmouth, Petersfield, Bordon & Guildford)
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Pay Rate: £26 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week

About the Role
Are you pro-active, highly motivated, professional, and friendly? We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrician to join our team, delivering high-quality electrical services across the South region.
You will play a key role in carrying out responsive and emergency electrical repairs within customers’ homes, working independently and aiming for first-time fixes wherever possible.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsive and emergency electrical repairs
• Fault diagnosis and rectification
• Replacing damaged electrical accessories
• Partial rewires
• Distribution board upgrades
• Circuit and heating system fault-finding
• Completing work to a high standard on a first-time fix basis

On-Call Rota

• Participation in an on-call rota approximately once every six weeks
• Rota runs Thursday to Thursday
• Standby allowance provided
• Additional payment for each completed call-out (on top of basic pay)

Essential Requirements

• 18th Edition qualification (up to date)
• Proven experience as an Electrician
• Strong fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently
• Full UK driving licence

Desirable Experience

• Experience working within social housing
• Experience using NICEIC certification or similar electrical certification software
