We’re seeking an experienced Employee Relations Consultant to provide expert HR advice, coaching, and guidance to managers across a local authority setting. What You’ll Do
- Coach & support managers on sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance, and capability issues.
- Manage complex cases and act as client manager for formal investigations.
- Deliver training in employee relations to help managers confidently apply policies.
- Analyse HR data and provide insights that lead to real improvements.
- Shape HR policy and processes by bringing your experience to the table.
- Strong knowledge of employment law and employee relations best practice.
- Proven experience handling complex ER cases.
- Excellent coaching, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyse data and turn it into actionable recommendations.
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusion.
