About the Role:
We are looking for a caring, enthusiastic, and dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team. The successful candidate will support the class teacher in creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment that promotes the learning and well-being of all children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.

The successful candidate will support the class teacher in creating a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment that promotes the learning and well-being of all children in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the planning and delivery of high-quality learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework.
- Work with individuals and small groups to support progress in communication, language, literacy, numeracy, and personal development.
- Assist with the observation and assessment of children’s learning, contributing to their learning journals/profiles.
- Promote positive behaviour and encourage independence, curiosity, and confidence in young learners.
- Help to set up, tidy, and maintain a safe and stimulating classroom environment both indoors and outdoors.
- Provide personal care and supervision where necessary, ensuring the health, safety, and welfare of children at all times.
- Work closely with the teacher and EYFS team to support the planning of activities that meet the developmental needs of all children.
- Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies to support children’s learning and well-being.
- Experience working with young children in an EYFS or nursery setting (desirable).
- A relevant childcare/teaching assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3 desirable).
- Understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A patient, nurturing, and supportive approach to working with young children.
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and inclusion.
