About the Role: We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and welcoming primary school in [location].

You’ll be working within the Nursery and/or Reception class, supporting children aged 3–5 as they take their first steps in education. The ideal candidate will be passionate about early years learning, child development, and providing a nurturing environment where every child can flourish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support pupils in their social, emotional, and educational development.
- Work closely with the class teacher to deliver play-based learning activities.
- Provide 1:1 and small group support to children who need additional help.
- Promote positive behaviour, independence, and curiosity in young learners.
- Assist with setting up engaging learning environments, displays, and resources.
- Observe, record, and support assessment of children’s progress in line with EYFS framework.
- Experience working within an Early Years setting (Nursery or Reception).
- A relevant childcare or early years qualification (e.g., Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching & Learning, CACHE, or Early Years Educator).
- A caring, patient, and creative approach to supporting young children.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
