The Role As a Family Help Lead Practitioner, you'll work directly with children, young people and their families to assess needs, coordinate support and deliver evidence-based interventions that improve outcomes.

Working alongside a range of partner agencies, you'll ensure families receive the right support at the right time, helping children remain safe, achieve their potential and thrive within their communities.

What You'll Be Doing

• Undertaking holistic assessments of children and family needs.
• Developing and coordinating effective multi-agency support plans.
• Delivering evidence-based interventions and reviewing progress.
• Working closely with schools, health professionals, community organisations and other agencies.
• Chairing multi-agency meetings and ensuring clear action plans are in place.
• Supporting children through a trauma-informed and strengths-based approach.
• Advocating for children and families, helping remove barriers to support.
• Contributing to Child Protection processes where required.
• Maintaining accurate case records and professional documentation.
• Completing court work where appropriate.

What We're Looking For We're looking for professionals who are passionate about improving outcomes for children and families and who can build strong, trusting relationships.

You will have:

• A Social Work qualification (BA/MA Social Work, CQSW, DipSW or equivalent) with Social Work England registration or a relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification with substantial experience working with children and families.
• Experience working within children's services, early help or family support.
• A strong understanding of safeguarding legislation and child protection.
• Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and whole-family approaches.
• Excellent assessment, communication and report writing skills.
• The ability to manage a varied caseload while working effectively under pressure.
• An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
