Salary: £12.22 per hour (PAYE) / £15.66 per hour (Umbrella)
About the Role
Rutland County Council is seeking a Family Hub Support Officer to join the Health & Community Wellbeing team for a 6-month temporary assignment. This role will support the development phase of the Best Start In Life Family Hub offer, ensuring the Local Authority is prepared to deliver the Family Hub model in Rutland from April 2026.
You will work closely with a small project group and provide direct support to the Best Start In Life Programme Manager, contributing to the successful design and readiness of services for families, children and young people across Rutland.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the development phase of the Best Start In Life Family Hub programme
- Set up, maintain and improve simple, effective systems and processes
- Record, track and collate data accurately
- Support data reporting and information management
- Work collaboratively with project colleagues and wider teams
- Assist with administrative tasks to ensure programme readiness
- Proven experience in an administrative or support role
- Experience using data reporting systems
- Experience minute taking
- Experience setting up systems and processes
- Experience tracking, recording and collating data and information
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Able to design and maintain clear, efficient processes
- Confident working with data and information systems
- Self-directed while also being an effective team player
- Passionate about supporting residents and communities
- Ability to work from Oakham Family Hub and other Rutland locations as required
- Willingness to work flexibly to support programme needs
