Job Title: Family Support Worker – Family Time Team
Location: Knowsley
Hours: 36 hours per week
Contract: Initial 3-month contract (with the possibility of extension)

About the Role
We are seeking a committed and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our Family Time Team in Knowsley. This vital role focuses on supporting cared-for children and their families by supervising family time (contact sessions) and ensuring these are safe, positive, and meaningful experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise family time sessions between children and their families.
• Complete clear and accurate contact record case notes, providing detailed observations and professional analysis.
• Attend and contribute to care planning meetings, sharing insights to support the best outcomes for children.
• Work flexibly as part of a supportive and dedicated team.

Requirements

• Previous experience of working with children, families, or within a social care setting is desirable.
• Strong observation, recording, and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
