We’re now looking for dedicated and compassionate Early Help Workers to join our locality teams, providing early intervention and support to families before issues escalate.
? About the Role As an Early Help Worker, you’ll work directly with children, young people and families to identify needs, coordinate multi-agency support, and deliver interventions that make a real difference.
You’ll be part of a dynamic and supportive team, working in partnership with schools, health services, community organisations and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

? Key Responsibilities
- Act as lead professional for a caseload of children and families, coordinating early help assessments and multi-agency plans.
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and young people.
- Build strong, respectful relationships with families to support engagement and lasting change.
- Promote partnership working across agencies to address needs effectively.
- Maintain high standards of case recording and ensure work is delivered in line with policy and procedure.
- Contribute to performance monitoring, supervision, and service development.
- Support the delivery of a locality duty service and occasionally work outside normal office hours when required.
You’ll need:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) and NVQ Level 4 qualification in a related field.
- Experience delivering interventions with children, young people and families.
- Experience completing assessments and developing support plans.
- Strong partnership working skills with both statutory and voluntary agencies.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload, chair meetings, and make sound, evidence-based decisions.
- A strong understanding of safeguarding, equality, diversity, and inclusion.
- Willingness to work flexibly and undertake relevant training.

- This post requires an enhanced DBS check and ongoing subscription to the DBS update service.
- Evidence of relevant qualifications will be required prior to appointment.
