? Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of children and families, acting as Lead Professional where appropriate
- Complete assessments and develop multi-agency support plans
- Deliver evidence-based interventions to improve outcomes and safeguard children
- Build strong relationships with families through persistent outreach and engagement
- Work in partnership with professionals across health, education, and social care
- Chair and coordinate case planning and review meetings
- Maintain accurate, up-to-date case records and reports
- Act as a Designated Safeguarding Professional (DSP) within the service
- Contribute to team development and share expertise in a specialist/champion area (e.g. domestic abuse, parenting, substance misuse)
- Experience working with children, young people, and families in a support or safeguarding setting
- Strong understanding of early help, safeguarding, and multi-agency working
- Ability to manage a complex caseload and prioritise effectively
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence in delivering structured interventions and assessments
- A proactive, resilient approach with a genuine passion for improving outcomes
