We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Family Support Worker to join our team on a part-time basis (0.5 FTE) to cover maternity leave until November 2026.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in Family Time/Contact supervision, who is confident working with children, parents, and professionals to ensure safe, structured, and child-centred contact sessions.

? Hours We are looking for someone who can cover:
- Monday – Thursday: 2pm – 6pm
(Some flexibility available and earlier finishes may be possible) - Potential Saturday work on rotation (not every week, flexible)
? Key Responsibilities
- Supervising Family Time/Contact sessions and undertaking detailed observations and assessments.
- Ensuring children are never left alone with family members during contact.
- Providing support, advice, and guidance to parents where appropriate.
- Ensuring all sessions remain child-centred, with no discussion of care plans or inappropriate topics.
- Transporting children to and from Family Time sessions (essential).
- Liaising with Social Workers, IROs, and other professionals.
- Using knowledge of child development and age-appropriate needs to guide practice.
