This role is to support the FBP in completing short-term project work, including but not limited to a full reconciliation of the Group’s capital component expenditure for the year.

- Detailed analysis of expenditure to a transactional level to resolve discrepancies, addressing queries promptly, and liaising with colleagues across multiple departments.
- Perform a detailed reconciliation of capital component expenditure in the year, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
- Maintain and update a comprehensive log of queries and discrepancies, tracking progress and ensuring all items are reviewed and resolved in preparation for the next reporting cycle
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies at a transactional level, collaborating with colleagues across departments to clarify and correct issues
- Collaborating with a range of stakeholders including both finance and non-finance colleagues.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Part qualified or QBE
- Excellent attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently, manage your own workload and maintain a high level of accuracy
- Experience with social housing/housing would be advantages but don’t essential.
- Competitive hourly rate (£21.94 - £27.58 umbrella).
- Flexible working arrangements.
- Potential for contract extension.
