Job Description
Service Care Solutions are recruiting for a Financial Planner to join a respected, independent and Chartered financial planning firm based in Shropshire. The company specialises in providing high-quality, holistic and unbiased financial advice to clients locally and further afield.

As a Financial Planner, you will play a key role in delivering tailored financial planning solutions, supporting clients throughout all stages of their financial journey. You’ll work with an experienced team of advisers and paraplanners to provide exceptional service, clarity, and peace of mind to clients navigating complex financial decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personalised financial planning advice to clients.
• Deliver holistic solutions across pensions, savings, investments, protection, inheritance tax planning, wills and long-term care.
• Build strong, long-term relationships based on trust and professional integrity.
• Prepare and present financial plans and recommendations tailored to client goals.
• Guide clients through the financial planning process, helping them understand options and trade-offs.
• Attend client meetings in person or remotely as required.
• Ensure all advice and documentation meets regulatory standards and internal quality controls.
• Maintain up-to-date client records, suitability reports, and compliance evidence.

Candidate Criteria

• Qualified Financial Planner (DipPFS or equivalent), working towards or holding advanced qualifications (e.g., Chartered status).
• Proven experience providing financial planning advice in an independent or advisory environment.
• Strong understanding of pensions, investments, protection, tax and retirement planning.
• Excellent communication skills, able to explain complex concepts in a clear and client-friendly manner.
• Client service focused, with a desire to build lasting relationships.
