We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Flagger / Groundworker to join a local authority’s repairs and maintenance team based in Bury. This role involves working on both void and occupied domestic properties.
We’re looking for a Flagger experienced in repairs and maintenance on domestic properties. You will be covering works to flagging, concrete paving, drainage and general groundworks and this is a stable, full-time role ideal for someone with social housing or council experience.
Duties Include:
This is a fantastic opportunity to secure sociable, full-time hours Monday to Friday. The hourly pay rate for this role is £21.43 Ltd (PAYE equivalent £18.39 inclusive of holiday).
You will be working a standard 37-hour week, with potential for overtime. An immediate start is available.

- Carry out flagging and concrete paving repairs to domestic properties (voids and occupied)
- Undertake groundwork duties including drainage repairs, reinstatements and small excavations
- Prepare and level ground surfaces ahead of flagging and paving installation
- Mix and lay concrete, cement, and other groundwork materials as required
- Identify and diagnose issues with existing paving or drainage and complete appropriate remedial works
