Location: EN6, WD19, WD23-25 - Bushey and Surrounds
Salary: £27,248 per annum
Hours: 35 hours per week
Contract Type: Permanent

The Job
Are you passionate about working outdoors and creating beautiful, well-maintained green spaces? We are seeking a dedicated Gardener to join our client's team on a permanent basis. Candidate Responsibilities:
As a Gardener, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing various estates, ensuring they are clean, attractive, and welcoming. Key tasks include:

• Carrying out scheduled grounds maintenance across multiple estates
• Planting and maintaining seasonal flower beds, hedges, shrubs, and turf
• Weeding, spraying, and performing seasonal leaf clearance
• Operating and maintaining manual and powered gardening tools
• Applying and storing chemicals safely in accordance with regulations
• Removing and responsibly disposing of green waste
• Assisting with landscaping projects and ongoing improvements
• Responding to urgent issues such as vandalism, hazards, or defects
• Following all health & safety procedures and wearing PPE as required

What You Will Need:

• Full UK driving licence (for using company vehicles)
• Experience in gardening or grounds maintenance
• Ability to safely operate horticultural machinery and tools
• Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach
• Physically able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Basic understanding of health & safety regulations
• PA1 & PA6a pesticide certificates – desirable but not essential
• A satisfactory Basic DBS check
