Location: North Somerset
Salary: £40,041 per annum
Permanent | Full Time (39 hours per week)

The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Gas Engineer to join the Property Operations team, delivering high-quality services across communities in North Somerset.
This is a permanent, full-time position working 39 hours per week, with participation in an out-of-hours standby rota.

About the Role
As part of the Gas Team, you will:

• Carry out annual gas servicing, breakdowns and repairs
• Complete central heating system maintenance and upgrades
• Focus on boiler replacements
• Deliver a “right first time” approach to repairs
• Work in occupied properties, liaising directly with tenants
• Ensure all work complies with Gas Safe regulations and H&S legislation
• Complete Gas Safe certificates and associated documentation accurately
• Use a tablet/mobile device to manage and receive jobs
• Maintain allocated vehicle stock, tools and equipment
• Participate in training, toolbox talks and appraisals

You will also have access to ongoing development opportunities, including licensed asbestos removal training.

What We’re Looking For

• Current CCN1, CPA1, CKR1, HTR1, WAT1 and CEN gas qualifications
• Relevant City & Guilds or NVQ qualification
• Proven experience working in line with Health & Safety legislation
• Full, clean UK driving licence (company van provided)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong customer service skills
• Basic IT skills (training provided where required)
