Salary: £27,500 per annum
Hours: 40 hours per week
Contract: Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Grounds Maintenance Operative with fencing experience to join a well-established team based in the Norwich area. This is a permanent opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship across a variety of outdoor environments.

The role will involve installing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of fencing systems to ensure the safety, security, and appearance of grounds and properties. You will work both independently and as part of a team, adhering to health and safety standards and project specifications.

This is a physically demanding, outdoor role that requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and repair a variety of fencing systems to a high standard
• Carry out groundwork tasks including measuring, setting out, digging, and post installation
• Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations
• Maintain clean, safe, and secure work sites at all times
• Work effectively both independently and within a team
• Support general grounds maintenance duties when required

Requirements:

• Proven experience in fencing installation or a similar role (essential)
• Competent using a range of hand tools and power tools
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Ability to follow instructions and work to specifications
• Full UK driving licence
• B E licence or towing experience (essential)
