Salary: £22.63 Ltd per hour (PAYE inc equivalent £19.42 per hour)

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Groundworker to join a busy property repairs and maintenance team, carrying out a varied range of external works across domestic properties.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced Groundworker looking for a stable role where you'll be trusted to manage a varied workload including paving, drainage, concreting, excavations, fencing and brickwork repairs.

You'll be working across residential properties, delivering high-quality repairs with a strong focus on completing works safely and getting the job right first time.


The Role

As a Groundworker, you'll undertake a variety of repairs, maintenance and associated groundwork including:
 

• Paving repairs and installations, including slabbing and block paving.
• Concreting paths, patios, steps and hard standings.
• Completing shuttering works where required.
• Repairing and replacing clay and UPVC underground drainage systems.
• Excavating and backfilling in accordance with building regulations.
• Installing and repairing concrete and timber fence posts.
• Installing fence panels and close-board fencing.
• Brickwork repairs and pointing.
• Carrying out associated general building repairs.
• Completing essential reinstatement works following repairs.
• Ensuring properties and external areas are left safe, secure and tidy.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:
 

• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant construction trade.
• Experience with paving, slabbing and block paving.
• Concreting experience, including paths, patios and steps.
• Full UK manual driving licence.
