£74,500 A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced housing leader to join a leading Housing Association in Manchester as Head of Neighbourhoods, overseeing key neighbourhood services and delivering strategic and operational excellence. THE ROLE
As the Head of Neighbourhoods, you will provide strategic leadership across a broad portfolio of neighbourhood services, ensuring the delivery of customer-focused, high-performing and compliant operations.

• Lead and manage Neighbourhood, Community Safety, Independent Living, and Facilities teams
• Embed and implement a new neighbourhood model across operational areas
• Ensure service delivery meets regulatory, statutory and customer expectations
• Drive performance, safeguarding, and tenancy sustainment initiatives
• Oversee environmental management and older persons support services
• Manage a £60 million income budget and £6 million staffing and operational spend
• Act as a strategic safeguarding lead and liaison with external partnerships

THE CANDIDATE
The ideal candidate will bring substantial leadership experience in housing and neighbourhood services, with a strong customer focus and proven strategic delivery capability.

• Educated to degree level or equivalent, with a relevant housing qualification (e.g., CIH)
• Strong leadership experience with the ability to inspire, coach and empower teams
• Track record of successful budget and performance management
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Knowledge of safeguarding, compliance and regulatory frameworks in housing

THE CONTRACT
Working Hours: 36 Hours Per Week, Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (flexibility required)
Length of Contract: Permanent Contract
