I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading housing provider for an Assistant Project Worker to join a temporary accommodation scheme supporting individuals who have experienced or are at risk of rough sleeping.
This role is based within a 26-bed supported accommodation service, providing person-centred, strengths-based support that promotes independence, wellbeing, and engagement with local services.

This role is based within a 26-bed supported accommodation service, providing person-centred, strengths-based support that promotes independence, wellbeing, and engagement with local services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day-to-day support to residents to help develop independent living skills.
- Encourage and motivate individuals to engage with support services, community activities and appointments.
- Provide reception cover, respond to enquiries, and take rent payments when required.
- Carry out health & safety checks within the building.
- Keep accurate case notes and records on the case management system.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies, raising safeguarding concerns when appropriate.
- Experience working with vulnerable adults or individuals affected by homelessness OR relevant lived experience.
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trusting, professional relationships.
- Understanding of safeguarding and professional boundaries.
- IT literate and able to maintain accurate records.
- DBS required (we can support with this if needed).
