Service Care Legal are working with a leading housing association as a Housing Litigation Lawyer, supporting their dedicated legal team in critical areas such as possessions, injunctions, debt recovery, and associated court advocacy.
ROLE: Housing Litigation Lawyer (3-Month Contract)
RATE: £30.00 to £38.77ph LTD / £34.37ph PAYE (inc. holiday pay) / £30.66 ph PAYE exc. holiday pay
LOCATION: West London (1 day per week in the office plus court attendance when required)
CONTRACT: 3 months (initial term) with potential for extension

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and process applications related to possessions, injunctions, and debt recovery.
- Represent the housing association in court proceedings, advocating on their behalf.
- Provide legal advice and support on disputes arising from housing management matters.
- Collaborate with the in-house legal team to ensure efficient case progression.
- Use the matter management system Clio to document and track casework.
- Conduct legal research using tools such as LexisNexis.
- Qualified solicitor or within the final stages of qualification (NQ considered).
- Experience working within housing law, particularly with housing associations.
- Knowledge of landlord and tenant disputes, possessions, and injunctions.
- Familiarity with housing regulations, procedures, and court processes.
- Strong advocacy skills and the ability to work independently on case applications.
- Comfortable with working remotely, with 1 day per week in the office plus court attendance.
- The role offers a flexible working arrangement with minimal in-office requirements.
