Housing Litigation Lawyer

Service Care Solutions are delighted to be working with a well-established and expanding law firm in Manchester, renowned for its specialist expertise across litigation, debt recovery and housing-related legal matters.

The firm is continuing to grow its legal team and is seeking an experienced Housing Litigation Lawyer to join its expanding department.

Location: Manchester / Hybrid
Salary: £35,000 – £60,000 per annum, depending on experience
Working Pattern: Full time

This is an excellent opportunity for a Housing Litigation Lawyer to join a forward-thinking firm with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality legal services to clients across both the private and public sectors.
You will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of housing litigation and recovery matters, providing legal advice and representation while progressing cases from initial instruction through to resolution.

The firm is particularly interested in speaking with legal professionals who have experience in Housing Litigation, Housing Recoveries, Social Housing, Landlord & Tenant, Debt Recovery or Civil Litigation.

Key responsibilities as a Housing Litigation Lawyer:

• Managing a caseload of housing litigation and housing recovery matters.
• Providing clear and commercially focused legal advice to clients.
• Handling possession proceedings, rent arrears and other housing-related disputes.
• Conducting litigation from pre-action stages through to settlement or hearing.
• Preparing legal documentation, statements, pleadings and correspondence.
• Advising on landlord and tenant matters and housing-related disputes.
• Liaising with clients, tenants, landlords, local authorities and other relevant parties.

About you as a Housing Litigation Lawyer:

• Previous experience within Housing Litigation, Housing Recoveries, Social Housing, Landlord & Tenant or Civil Litigation.
• Strong knowledge of relevant litigation procedures and processes.
• Experience managing a caseload independently.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider legal team.

The firm would also consider candidates from related litigation backgrounds who have strong transferable skills and are looking to develop their career within housing litigation.
