Job Title: Housing Officer
Location: Central London
Job Type: Temporary – 3 months ongoing
Salary: £26.00 per hour LTD company rate | PAYE equivalent: £22.31 per hour (inclusive of holiday)

Candidate Responsibilities for the Housing Officer
  • Actively listen to residents and promptly address their concerns to foster positive relationships.
  • Build strong, visible relationships with residents and stakeholders to enhance community engagement.
  • Ensure ongoing maintenance of housing schemes, including repairs, cleaning, and grounds upkeep.
  • Investigate and resolve anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases effectively and sensitively.
  • Manage service charges efficiently and transparently, maintaining compliance.
  • Collaborate with managing agents and contractors to deliver high-quality resident services.
  • Conduct regular estate inspections, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Proactively respond to resident needs and uphold high standards of service delivery.
Candidate Requirements
  • Proven experience in housing or property management, ideally within a similar Housing Officer role.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Tenacity, resilience, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective analytical and negotiating skills.
  • Team-oriented with IT proficiency and attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work proactively within a fast-paced environment.
