Candidate Responsibilities for the Housing Officer
- Actively listen to residents and promptly address their concerns to foster positive relationships.
- Build strong, visible relationships with residents and stakeholders to enhance community engagement.
- Ensure ongoing maintenance of housing schemes, including repairs, cleaning, and grounds upkeep.
- Investigate and resolve anti-social behaviour (ASB) cases effectively and sensitively.
- Manage service charges efficiently and transparently, maintaining compliance.
- Collaborate with managing agents and contractors to deliver high-quality resident services.
- Conduct regular estate inspections, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Proactively respond to resident needs and uphold high standards of service delivery.
- Proven experience in housing or property management, ideally within a similar Housing Officer role.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Tenacity, resilience, and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Effective analytical and negotiating skills.
- Team-oriented with IT proficiency and attention to detail.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work proactively within a fast-paced environment.
