Scheme Manager (Retirement Housing) – Henley-in-Arden – £16.52 LTD – Part-Time
Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for a Scheme Manager to support a retirement housing scheme in Henley-in-Arden (Aspen Court). This is a part-time temporary opportunity with the potential to become permanent following a resident ballot.
Location: Aspen Court, Henley-in-Arden
Hours: 15 hours per week (5 hours per day, 3 days – ideally Monday, Wednesday and Friday, negotiable)
Rate: £16.52 per hour LTD
Contract: Temporary (duration TBC) – potential for permanent opportunity
Start Date: Immediate
Role Overview This is a key site-based role responsible for the day-to-day management of a retirement housing scheme. You will ensure the building and grounds are safe, well-maintained and compliant, while providing a visible and supportive presence for residents. This is not a care role, but strong people skills and confidence working with older residents are essential.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage the overall safety, security and presentation of the scheme
- Raise and monitor responsive repairs and maintenance issues
- Carry out health & safety checks and ensure compliance (including fire alarm testing and site inspections)
- Monitor the condition of communal areas, grounds and building facilities
- Act as a point of contact for residents, providing reassurance and support where required
- Work with contractors and internal teams to ensure works are completed efficiently
- Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with housing and safety standards
- Experience in housing, scheme management, facilities, or a similar property-based role
- Strong understanding of health & safety and building compliance
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work sensitively with older residents
- Ability to work independently and manage a site effectively
- Full UK driving licence preferred
- If non-driver, ability to commute to the main office at Birmingham Business Park (B37 7YN) when required
