Independent Reviewing Officer

 Independent Reviewing Officer (IRO) – Immediate Start

We are seeking an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer to join our team on a 3-month initial placement.
Key Requirements:

• Recent IRO experience – essential
• Available to start within 4 weeks
• In-depth knowledge of Looked After Children legislation, processes, and statutory guidance
• Minimum 3 years’ permanent post-qualification experience (DfE compliant)
• Must be able to work on site at least 3 days per week 

Responsibilities include:

• Chairing Looked After Children Reviews
• Conducting Secure Accommodation Reviews
• Attending Child Sexual Exploitation and Missing from Care meetings
• Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practice guidance

Details:

• £40 per hour (Ltd/Umbrella) inlcusive of holiday pay or £27.27 Paye Exolusive of holiday pay 
• Free car parking on site
• Office base: L6 3BH
• 3-month contract (with possible extension)
