Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Independent Social Worker - Form F Assessor to undertake independent assessment work on behalf of Cardiff Council.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced fostering assessors looking for flexible, remote work while supporting the recruitment and assessment of prospective foster carers.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete comprehensive Form F Assessments for prospective foster carers.
• Undertake interviews, home visits where required, and gather relevant information.
• Produce high-quality assessment reports within agreed timescales.
• Analyse information and make evidence-based recommendations.
• Work in accordance with fostering regulations, legislation, and best practice guidance.

Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker.
• Registration with Social Care Wales (formerly Care Council for Wales) or GSCC.
• Experience completing Form F Assessments.
• Strong assessment, analytical, and report-writing skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
