Teaching Assistant – KS1 & KS2

We are currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils across KS1 and KS2 within a primary school setting. This role involves working closely with teachers and supporting pupils in their day-to-day learning.

Role responsibilities include:

• Supporting teaching and learning across KS1 and KS2
• Assisting the class teacher with lesson delivery
• Working with small groups of pupils to support learning
• Helping to prepare classroom resources and activities
• Supporting classroom behaviour and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Encouraging pupil engagement, confidence, and independence

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
• A positive and proactive approach
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to build strong relationships with pupils and staff
• A flexible and reliable attitude
• An Enhanced DBS on the update service, or willingness to obtain one

This role is ideal for someone looking to gain or continue experience in a primary school setting across both KS1 and KS2.
