Job Title: KS1 Teacher Job Purpose As a KS1 Teacher, you will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of primary schools, supporting pupils aged 5–7. This role offers flexible working options, allowing you to choose assignments that suit your availability and preferences.

Key Responsibilities Teaching and Learning

• Deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the KS1 national curriculum
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of different learners and school environments
• Follow lesson plans provided or plan where required

Classroom Management

• Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment
• Manage behaviour in line with each school’s policies
• Ensure continuity of learning in the absence of the regular teacher

Assessment and Reporting

• Provide feedback on pupil progress where required
• Mark work in line with school policies

Safeguarding and Pastoral Care

• Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils
• Build positive relationships with pupils and staff quickly

Requirements Essential

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Adaptability and confidence working in different schools

Desirable

• Experience with phonics programmes
• Knowledge of UK safeguarding procedures
