KS2 Teachers

Job Title: KS2 Teacher Job Purpose As a KS2 Supply Teacher, you will deliver engaging and effective teaching to pupils aged 7–11 across a range of primary schools. This flexible role allows you to choose when and where you work, with opportunities for day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements.

Key Responsibilities Teaching and Learning

• Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in line with the KS2 national curriculum
• Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND and EAL
• Ensure continuity of learning in different classroom settings

Classroom Management

• Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
• Follow each school’s behaviour policies effectively
• Build rapport quickly with pupils and staff

Assessment and Progress

• Mark and assess pupils’ work where required
• Provide feedback to school staff on pupil progress
• Support preparation for KS2 SATs where applicable

Safeguarding and Pastoral Care

• Safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils
• Support pupils’ wellbeing and development
• Uphold school policies and procedures at all times

Requirements Essential

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Flexibility and confidence working in different school environments

Desirable

• Experience preparing pupils for KS2 SATs
• Strong subject knowledge in English, Maths, or Science
• Knowledge of UK safeguarding procedures
