Lead Child Protection Practitioner

Location: Warwickshire (Nuneaton Justice Centre or Leamington Justice Centre)
Rate: £38 per hour Umbrella
Contract: 3-Month Ongoing Contract
Start Date: ASAP

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced Lead Child Protection Practitioner to join a specialist safeguarding team in Warwickshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled social worker to take on a non-caseholding role, focusing on safeguarding, child protection and multi-agency working.

Key Requirements

• Qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England
• Minimum 4 years post-qualified experience
• Extensive Child Protection and Safeguarding experience
• Strong understanding of multi-agency working and child protection procedures
• Ability to obtain Police Vetting due to the role being based within police buildings

Working Arrangements The successful candidate will be based at either:

• Nuneaton Justice Centre, or
• Leamington Justice Centre

Attendance requirements include:

• Full duty days (usually twice per week)
• Travel to child protection conferences and related meetings across Warwickshire (typically once or twice per week in addition to duty days)

About the Role This is a non-caseholding position, making it an excellent opportunity for experienced practitioners who are passionate about safeguarding and child protection but are looking to step away from managing a caseload. You will play a key role in supporting safeguarding processes, attending conferences and working alongside partner agencies to achieve positive outcomes for children and families.
