Job Purpose
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Learning & Development Coordinator to join our People Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and coordination experience who is passionate about supporting colleagues’ development and creating a seamless learning experience.
You’ll play a key role in coordinating training activity, maintaining compliance records, supporting onboarding, and ensuring our learning initiatives run efficiently and professionally.

You’ll play a key role in coordinating training activity, maintaining compliance records, supporting onboarding, and ensuring our learning initiatives run efficiently and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Learning & Development Lead, you will:
- Coordinate end-to-end logistics for training and development activities
- Manage mandatory and Health & Safety training compliance
- Maintain the training matrix and Learning Management System (LMS)
- Support onboarding and induction programmes
- Manage the L&D mailbox, providing first-line advice and support
- Track training spend, process invoices, and liaise with Finance
- Produce L&D reports, dashboards, and compliance data
- Promote learning initiatives through internal communications
- Support apprenticeship and structured learning programmes
- Work collaboratively with managers and external training providers
- Experience in an administrative or coordination role (ideally within L&D, HR, or a people-focused function)
- Experience coordinating training bookings, calendars, or events
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence using Microsoft Office
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles
- Experience using an LMS
- Exposure to Health & Safety compliance monitoring
- Experience managing purchase orders and invoices
- CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)
- Understanding of the L&D cycle and learning impact measurement
