Job Purpose
 
We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Learning & Development Coordinator to join our People Team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative and coordination experience who is passionate about supporting colleagues’ development and creating a seamless learning experience.
 
You’ll play a key role in coordinating training activity, maintaining compliance records, supporting onboarding, and ensuring our learning initiatives run efficiently and professionally.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Learning & Development Lead, you will:
  • Coordinate end-to-end logistics for training and development activities
  • Manage mandatory and Health & Safety training compliance
  • Maintain the training matrix and Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Support onboarding and induction programmes
  • Manage the L&D mailbox, providing first-line advice and support
  • Track training spend, process invoices, and liaise with Finance
  • Produce L&D reports, dashboards, and compliance data
  • Promote learning initiatives through internal communications
  • Support apprenticeship and structured learning programmes
  • Work collaboratively with managers and external training providers
Candidate Profile
  • Experience in an administrative or coordination role (ideally within L&D, HR, or a people-focused function)
  • Experience coordinating training bookings, calendars, or events
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office
  • Understanding of confidentiality and data protection principles
  • Experience using an LMS
  • Exposure to Health & Safety compliance monitoring
  • Experience managing purchase orders and invoices
  • CIPD Level 3 (or working towards)
  • Understanding of the L&D cycle and learning impact measurement
