Job Title: Learning & Organisation Development Specialist
Location: Stanley/Gosforth (Hybrid, some travel required)
Contract Type: Fixed Term – 5 months
Hours: 22.2 hours per week (part-time, flexible working available)
Salary: £41,315.09 per annum (pro rata)

We’re looking for an experienced Learning & Organisation Development Specialist to join our clients People & OD team on a part-time basis for maternity cover. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by shaping culture, embedding change, and enhancing the learning experience for colleagues across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and embed effective learning and organisational development interventions.
• Scope, implement, and evaluate measurable programmes that align with business strategy.
• Create engaging digital and physical content using modern tools and facilitation techniques.
• Support managers and teams with L&OD advice, guidance, and coaching.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across ICT, Communications, and the wider People & OD team.
• Contribute to succession planning, apprenticeships, and graduate development programmes.

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience delivering L&OD programmes in complex, changing environments.
• Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Confident in digital content creation and Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint).
• Organised, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Passionate about workplace learning, organisational culture, and service excellence.

Desirable:

• Relevant qualification in L&OD/HR/OD, or working towards one.
