Learning Support Assistant

Learning Support Assistant (LSA) We are seeking a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join our team. The successful candidate will support pupils in accessing learning and help create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting pupils individually and in small groups during lessons
  
  
• Helping pupils understand tasks and stay engaged in learning
  
  
• Providing additional support for pupils with special educational needs (SEN) where required
  
  
• Assisting the teacher with preparing learning resources and classroom organisation
  
  
• Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting pupils’ social and emotional development
  
  

The successful candidate will:

• Have experience working with children or young people (school experience desirable)
  
  
• Be patient, supportive, and able to build positive relationships with pupils
  
  
• Have good communication and teamwork skills
  
  
• Be committed to supporting pupils’ learning and wellbeing
