  • Manage a caseload, prioritising and organising work in a fast-paced environment

  • Contribute to the development, implementation, and review of Pathway Plans with full participation from young people

  • Provide clear, analytical written and verbal reports

  • Attend and contribute to meetings, including safeguarding and court where required

  • Undertake the statutory role of Personal Advisor in line with relevant legislation and regulations

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external agencies

  • Offer guidance and signposting around housing, benefits, education, training, employment, and health

  • Maintain accurate case records and documentation

  • Participate in service development, training, and supervision

Working Arrangements
  • Office-based at least 3 days per week

  • Core hours: 09:00 – 17:00, with flexibility required to meet young people’s availability

  • Travel required, including visits to young people living outside Southwark

About You
  • Experience working with looked after children and/or care leavers

  • Strong understanding of legislation relating to care leavers

  • Ability to manage a varied caseload and adapt to changing demands

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and report-writing skills

  • A proactive and empathetic approach to supporting young people
