We’re working with a forward-thinking local authority in the Lichfield area who are looking for a Leaving Care Personal Advisor to join their dedicated team.

? The Role As a Personal Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in supporting young people leaving care, helping them build confidence, develop life skills, and move towards independent living.

You will:

• Provide practical and emotional support to care leavers
• Develop and review pathway plans tailored to individual needs
• Work closely with partner agencies including housing, education, and health services
• Support young people with education, employment, and training opportunities
• Act as a consistent and reliable point of contact during their transition

? What We’re Looking For

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant field – essential
• Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle – essential
• Experience working with young people, ideally within leaving care or a similar setting
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to manage a caseload and work independently
