The Role As a Personal Advisor, you will:
- Provide statutory social work services to eligible care leavers, ensuring all legal requirements are met.
- Manage a caseload of young people, supporting them to prepare for independent living.
- Coordinate and deliver pathway plans, liaising with social workers, carers, and other agencies.
- Offer tailored advice and guidance on housing, education, employment, and life skills.
- Champion a holistic approach that promotes self-esteem, resilience, and positive achievement.
- Contribute to service development, evaluation, and inter-agency initiatives.
What We’re Looking For Our ideal candidate will:
- Be passionate about supporting care leavers and young people.
- Have experience in social work, aftercare, or related fields.
- Demonstrate strong communication, assessment, and case management skills.
- Be proactive, resilient, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
