Litigation Solicitor

Service Care Solutions is delighted to be partnering with a well-regarded Local Authority, based in West Yorkshire, who are looking to appoint an experienced Civil Litigation Lawyer to their dynamic in-house legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated legal professional who thrives in a varied public-sector role and is seeking meaningful work within a supportive environment.
 
Role: Civil litigation Lawyer
Location: Bradford – hybrid
Umbrella Rate: £50 to £55ph
PAYE Inc Rate: £44.10 to £48.44ph
Contract Length: 3 months ongoing
 
Key Responsibilities

• Managing a varied civil litigation caseload, including:
  • Judicial Reviews (JRs)
  • Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB) matters
  • General civil claims against the authority
  • Housing-related litigation
  • Debt recovery and enforcement matters
• Drafting pleadings, statements, orders and legal documentation.
• Preparing matters for hearings and representing the authority where required.

Essential Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with a valid Practising Certificate or FILEX
• Must have relevant Civil Litigation certification
• Strong experience in handling a broad civil litigation caseload
• Public sector experience is desirable but not essential
