Litigation Solicitor

Service Care Leading a recruiting for a leading Central London Local Authority handling a high-quality caseload of commercial and property litigation. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-profile disputes without the pressures of private practice.

ROLE:                  Litigation Solicitor
LOCATION:         Central London
RATE:                   £58.92ph umbrella (£52.07ph PAYE inc. holiday pay / £46.46ph PAYE exc. holiday pay)
CONTRACT:        3 months with possibility of extension, 36 hours per week

Please note that this role is predominantly remote with occasional office attendance for key meetings.

The Role
 

• Manage your own caseload of commercial & property litigation matters
• Handle landlord & tenant, possession, dilapidations, forfeiture, breach of covenant, telecoms and contractual disputes
• Conduct matters in the County Court, High Court and Property Tribunals
• Advise council departments and instruct Counsel where required

Requirements
 

• Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Chartered Legal Executive with practising rights
• Minimum 2 years' PQE
• Strong experience in commercial/property litigation
• Excellent drafting, advocacy and case management skills
• Local authority experience desirable but not essential
