We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced M&E Project Manager to join a London-based Council within their Capital Works team. This role will take the lead on a range of mechanical and electrical projects, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality standards while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement throughout.

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced M&E Project Manager to join a London-based Council within their Capital Works team. This role will take the lead on a range of mechanical and electrical projects, ensuring delivery to time, cost, and quality standards while maintaining strong stakeholder engagement throughout.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery of M&E capital projects from inception through to completion and handover.
- Coordinate and motivate project teams, managing contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
- Take ownership of budgets, procurement, and project performance in line with council governance.
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety legislation, CDM Regulations, and corporate policies.
- Build effective working relationships with residents, client departments, and the Asset Management team.
- Attend evening and occasional weekend meetings where required to support project delivery.
- Proven experience delivering M&E or Capital Works projects within local authority, housing, or public sector environments.
- Strong understanding of project and contract management, procurement, and leaseholder engagement.
- Knowledge of CDM, compliance, and Health & Safety standards.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
- Professional qualification or chartership (RICS, CIOB, APM, or NEBOSH Construction) desirable but not essential.
- A proactive, resident-focused, and collaborative approach to project delivery.
