Maintenance Operative

Pay Rate: £18.20 per hour
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Location: Covering Northampton, Corby & surrounding areas

Job Purpose We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Operative to carry out responsive and planned maintenance works across empty and tenanted properties within the Northampton, Corby, and surrounding areas. The role requires a multi-skilled approach with a strong focus on quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs and maintenance on both void and occupied properties
  
  
• Undertake a range of maintenance tasks including:
  
  
• Basic plumbing repairs
  
  
• Painting and decorating
  
  
• Minor carpentry works
  
  
• General property maintenance
  
  
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with company procedures
  
  
• Deliver excellent customer service when working in occupied homes
  
  
• Adhere to health & safety regulations at all times
  
  
• Accurately report completed works and any follow-up requirements
  
  Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience in a maintenance or multi-trade role
    
    
  • Good practical knowledge of plumbing, painting, and carpentry
    
    
  • Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
    
    
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
    
    
  • Good communication and customer service skills
