Maintenance Operative

We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Operative to join a repairs and maintenance team covering the Newark and Lincoln areas. This role involves working on both void and occupied domestic properties.

We’re looking for a Maintenance Operative with a core trade in either Plumbing or Joinery. You will be covering responsive repairs and this is a stable, full-time role ideal for someone with social housing or council experience.

Duties Include:
 

• Carrying out responsive maintenance and repair work in both occupied and void domestic properties.
• Completing a variety of planned and reactive repairs to a high standard.
• Undertaking general maintenance tasks alongside your core trade of Plumbing or Joinery.
• Diagnosing faults and identifying the most effective repair solutions.
• Installing, repairing and replacing domestic fixtures and fittings.
• Completing repairs such as doors, locks, skirting, kitchens, pipework, taps, toilets, sinks and other household components (depending on trade).

This is a fantastic opportunity to secure sociable, full-time hours Monday to Friday. The hourly pay rate for this role is £18.20 Ltd (PAYE equivalent £15.62 inclusive of holiday).

You will be working a standard 37-hour week, with potential for overtime. An immediate start is available.

You will need:
 

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Operative / Multi Trader
• Your own basic hand tools and PPE
• Full UK driving licence
• NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Plumbing or Joinery
