Maintenance Operatives (Voids Team) – Leicester


Location: Leicester
Pay: £18.20 per hour
Hours: 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday

About the Role: We are currently recruiting 2x Maintenance Operatives to join the Voids Team with a leading facilities management contractor.

You’ll be responsible for carrying out a variety of multi-trade maintenance tasks across void (vacant) properties in Leicester, helping prepare homes for new tenants. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded operative with experience in carpentry, plumbing, and painting. Experience fitting fire doors is a plus, but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carrying out general maintenance and repairs on vacant properties
  
  
• Performing multi-trade work, including carpentry, basic plumbing, and decorating
  
  
• Ensuring homes are ready for new occupants
  
  
• Travelling to various sites across Leicester
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a multi-skilled operative or tradesperson
  
  
• Strong skills across multiple trades (carpentry, plumbing, painting)
  
  
• Full UK driving licence
  
  
• Own van preferred (mileage reimbursed at £0.45/mile)
  
  
  • Van can be provided for the right candidate
    
    

Pay & Benefits:
