MASH Social Worker - Hackney Council

Service Care Solutions are recruiting for an experienced MASH Social Worker to join Hackney Council on a temporary agency contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded local authority and play a key role in safeguarding children and young people at the point of referral.

Working within the Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH), you will be responsible for screening and assessing incoming contacts, gathering information from partner agencies, identifying levels of risk, and making timely decisions to ensure children and families receive the appropriate support and intervention. This role is ideal for social workers who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have strong assessment and decision-making skills.

• Hackney Council
• £37.52 per hour Umbrella
• £29.43 per hour PAYE Exclusive
• 3-month contract with potential for extension
• Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm
• Hybrid working available
• 2 days per week in the office

Requirements

• Social Work England registration
• Degree or equivalent qualification in Social Work
• Previous Children's Social Work experience
• Experience working within a MASH, Referral & Assessment, Front Door, or Safeguarding Team is desirable
• Strong knowledge of child protection procedures and statutory legislation
