Multi-Skilled Carpenter

Pay: £26.00 per hour
Location: South London
Contract: Temporary / Ongoing

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Carpenter to carry out responsive repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties across South London.
The role will have a strong carpentry focus alongside general multi-trade repairs.

Key Responsibilities

• Carrying out responsive carpentry and multi-trade repairs
• Door, frame, lock and ironmongery repairs
• Kitchen units, worktops and general second fix carpentry
• UPVC window and door repairs
• Basic plumbing repairs
• Tiling and patch repairs
• Lock changes and property securing works
• Minor flooring and general maintenance repairs
• Diagnosing faults and completing jobs on a first-time-fix basis
• Working independently across occupied properties
• Providing excellent customer service to residents

Requirements

• Strong carpentry background
• Competent across additional maintenance trades
• Previous social housing or domestic maintenance experience preferred
• Full UK driving licence
• Own basic hand tools
• Good communication and customer service skills
