Salary: £34,750 per annum
Location: Redhill and surrounding areas
Contract: Permanent
Vehicle: Company van provided or shared
DBS: Basic DBS required

We are recruiting for an experienced Multi-Skilled Carpenter to join an established housing provider’s responsive repairs team.
This is a permanent position completing carpentry repairs and general multi-trade maintenance across occupied social housing properties, with occasional work in empty homes where required.
Key Responsibilities

• Complete responsive carpentry repairs and maintenance
• Repair or replace doors, frames, locks, skirting and flooring
• Complete kitchen unit, worktop and general woodwork repairs
• Carry out additional multi-trade work where competent
• Diagnose repairs and aim to complete work on the first visit
• Update job information using the electronic booking system
• Maintain company tools, equipment and vehicle
• Deliver a professional service to residents

Requirements

• City & Guilds Level 2, NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry or equivalent experience
• Strong domestic carpentry repair experience
• Additional multi-trade maintenance skills
• Social housing or property maintenance experience
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Willingness to complete a Basic DBS check
