Hours: 37 per week

Salary: £20 per hour

Are you an experienced Painter and Decorator with a wide range of trade skills? Do you take pride in delivering high-quality work that improves people’s homes and community spaces?

What You’ll Do

• Carry out a full range of painting, decorating and multi-skilled repairs in homes and public buildings.
• Deliver both responsive and planned maintenance—from refreshing empty properties to improving living spaces for our tenants.
• Use modern tools and technology (including PDA/iPad systems) to record work accurately and efficiently.
• Take responsibility for equipment, vehicles and materials, ensuring safe, sustainable and professional use.
• Be part of an on-call rota, responding to emergency repairs when required.

What We’re Looking For
We’re after a dedicated, skilled professional who can deliver top-quality work with minimal supervision. You’ll need:

• Time-served Painting and Decorating Apprenticeship (or equivalent experience)
• Multi-skilling experience or NVQ in a relevant trade
• Social Housing Experience
• A good understanding of building maintenance and repair
• Ability to diagnose and fix faults efficiently
• Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused approach
• Full UK driving licence (and CPC/Hiab if required for vehicle use)
• CSCS card preferred
