What You’ll Do
- Carry out a full range of painting, decorating and multi-skilled repairs in homes and public buildings.
- Deliver both responsive and planned maintenance—from refreshing empty properties to improving living spaces for our tenants.
- Use modern tools and technology (including PDA/iPad systems) to record work accurately and efficiently.
- Take responsibility for equipment, vehicles and materials, ensuring safe, sustainable and professional use.
- Be part of an on-call rota, responding to emergency repairs when required.
What We’re Looking For
We’re after a dedicated, skilled professional who can deliver top-quality work with minimal supervision. You’ll need:
- Time-served Painting and Decorating Apprenticeship (or equivalent experience)
- Multi-skilling experience or NVQ in a relevant trade
- Social Housing Experience
- A good understanding of building maintenance and repair
- Ability to diagnose and fix faults efficiently
- Strong communication skills and a positive, customer-focused approach
- Full UK driving licence (and CPC/Hiab if required for vehicle use)
- CSCS card preferred
