Service Care Solutions are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative to join a well-established maintenance contractor covering Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill and Horsham within the Mid Sussex area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled tradesperson with advanced carpentry and plumbing experience to work on responsive repairs, void properties and planned maintenance across social housing.
The Role
As a Multi Trade Operative, you'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair works within occupied and void social housing properties. You'll primarily utilise your carpentry and plumbing skills while undertaking secondary trade work where required.

The Role
As a Multi Trade Operative, you'll be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance and repair works within occupied and void social housing properties. You'll primarily utilise your carpentry and plumbing skills while undertaking secondary trade work where required.
Your duties will include:
- Responsive repairs
- Void property refurbishments
- Property MOT works
- Planned maintenance
- General multi-trade repairs
- Carrying out work safely, efficiently and to a high standard
- Delivering excellent customer service to tenants
- Completing work within agreed deadlines
- City & Guilds qualification up to NVQ Level 3, or equivalent relevant trade experience
- Advanced carpentry and plumbing skills are essential
- Experience in additional trades is highly desirable
- Glazing experience would be a significant advantage
- Previous experience within social housing or property maintenance
- Full UK Driving Licence preferred
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- £23.62 per hour (Umbrella)
- 40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Ongoing, full-time work
- Work across Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill & Horsham (Mid Sussex)
