Multi Trade Operative – Carpentry & Plumbing Bias

Location: Bromley and Croydon
Pay: £25 per hour
Contract: Temporary to Permanent – 12 weeks
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Benefits: Company van and fuel card provided | Weekly pay

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Trade Operative with strong carpentry and plumbing skills to join a growing social housing maintenance team.
The role will involve carrying out responsive repairs and maintenance across occupied local authority properties throughout Bromley and Croydon.
Key Responsibilities

• Carry out multi-trade repairs, with a focus on carpentry and plumbing
• Complete responsive maintenance within occupied properties
• Diagnose faults and deliver effective, high-quality repairs
• Ensure all work is completed within agreed timescales
• Provide professional customer service to residents
• Complete relevant paperwork and job reports accurately

Requirements

• Previous experience working as a Multi Trade Operative
• Strong carpentry and plumbing skills
• Social housing or domestic maintenance experience is preferred
• Full UK driving licence
• Ability to work independently and manage a daily workload
