We are currently recruiting for a skilled and experienced Multi Trader to join Camden Council’s Property Maintenance Team. This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a varied and rewarding role within a busy local authority.
As a Multi Trader, you will carry out a wide range of building repairs, maintenance, renewals, and refurbishments across occupied and void council properties, ensuring all works are completed to a high standard and in line with current building regulations and best practices. Key Responsibilities

• Undertake building repairs and maintenance tasks across multiple trade areas in both residential and council-owned premises.
• Diagnose faults, assess repair requirements, and implement effective and long-lasting solutions.
• Complete all work to a “Right First Time” standard with professional quality and attention to detail.
• Collaborate with supervisors, planners, and the wider repairs team to ensure work schedules and service objectives are met.
• Maintain safe working practices and comply with all relevant Health & Safety regulations.
• Accurately complete all necessary documentation including timesheets, material requisitions, and daily job records.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Proven experience and professional competency in at least four of the following trade disciplines:
  • Plumbing
  • Carpentry
  • Plastering
  • Electrical (Part P qualification desirable)
  • Tiling
  • Painting & Decorating
  • Gas Safe certified works
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Up-to-date knowledge of relevant standards, regulations, and safe working practices.
